Project Details:
This project included the supply and erection of 2800 tonnes of structural steel for the Tesco Extra store and retail units. Wall Steel also supplied and fitted 12,000 metres of floor decking and shear studding to fit out the first floor of the main building.

We worked closely with the main contractor to ensure the programme was met. This involved up to 25 operatives and 5 mobile cranes onsite. The contract was delivered safely and on time.

The Charles Institute,
University College Dublin (UCD)

The UCD School of Medicine and Medical Science is developing a dermatological research centre to be named The Charles Institute. Wall Steel is currently working on this project and has produced 130 tonnes (to date) of structural and architectural steel.

The atrium area features 500mm Oval Hollow Section Columns to support glazing, resulting in a light filled open common area within the Institute. Wall Steel is working in partnership with the RKD Architecture, ARUP engineering and the main contractors Walls.

Tesco Extra Naas,
Co. Kildare — Now open

Tesco Extra Naas is now open. Wall Steel manufactured and erected the 745 tonnes of structural steel for this Tesco Extra store. The majority of this steel work was erected in an intensive four week period to adhere to the very tight programme.

Having worked with Wall Steel on a number of previous projects both Precision Construction and Tesco knew they could rely on us to deliver this project safely and on schedule.
