Project Details:
Wall Steel was the Structural Steel contractor for Pier E, the airside section of Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2 development. Dublin Airport’s Pier E/ Terminal 2 was the largest construction site in Ireland with over 2000 people working on site at its peak. The overall value of the Terminal 2 project is €609 million.

The project consisted of the provision of 3500 tonnes of structural steel and 18000 square metres of decking, Pier E is 400 meters long with 11 fixed links and Node Buildings and a Link Bridge connection to Terminal 2 spanning over 30m. Wall Steel worked closely with PJ Hegarty the main contractor on this site and the Dublin Airport Authority to ensure that the project was delivered on program.
